Why do we have a shortage of goods in the US?

I flew over San Fransisco a few months ago and the number of ships I saw in the bay was overwhelming. Ships everywhere. But not one person on the docks. It didn’t make sense to me.

My thought was “Why isn’t the governor or the government out there making sure that people get back to work to make sure that the American people have what they need?

The military are experts in transportation and logistics. Why are our leaders not taking cues from them? The inability of these people who hold positions of power in Washington that are doing nothing is disgusting.

How do you solve this problem? We send the ships to Florida or Texas. To places where people are back at work and are ready and able to get things done. If California won’t do it. If their Governor won’t get his citizens back to work and get America up and running again, there are other states that will. Send the ships there.

The Crisis at the Border

What are we going to do about the Southern border?

Well, how can we take cues from the leader of the free world about what to do when it comes to the border and security of our nation when he refuses to visit the very border he keeps open to any and everyone who wants to cross it.

Something is going on, and there is no transparency when it comes to the border. The agents are overrun and outnumbered. They can’t keep up with the number of people coming into this country every day.

What do we do to protect the people who live on the border?

Who is ensuring their safety when immigrants are trespassing onto their property as they cross into this country. They are arming themselves in their own homes because no one is listening to their pleas for help.

The Green New Deal and What It Means for America

What is the Green New Deal? Ultimately… does it really matter?

It’s going to cost the American taxpayers 50-90 trillion dollars. Where are we going to get that money from? We can’t just keep printing money and devalue the dollar even further. Look where that has gotten us so far.

When our politicians say they want to spend 50-90 trillion dollars, they aren’t living in reality. And no one asking the hard questions.

Donald Trump lost a great opportunity to get some of the other power players in the world to sign on with this plan or to shut it down when they refused to hop on board after being presented with the Green New Deal.

My Personal Immigration Story with Peter Murphy

My name is Peter Murphy, and I am the author of “Business of Political President“.

I decided to immigrate from Ireland at the age of 34 and come to the United States. It was a bit of an adventure. I was somewhat cautious. Afraid of the unknown. To come to a new country with new people, new challenges, and not knowing where to go to find what I need was daunting.

America is a great place. If you work hard, you can achieve anything in this country.

It took me a while to become a citizen. 7 years, in fact. But I did the work. It is possible to do it the right way.

I encourage each and every person who is currently en route to our great nation or is thinking about immigrating here… do the work. Make a life for yourself here and be a productive member of society.

Because this country is TRULY a great place to live.
