America’s Last Political President: Barack Obama

When Barack Obama won as the FIRST African American President, I was excited to see what he would accomplish. I thought he brought a level of excitement from communities that felt underrepresented.

I thought he would start with Chicago. After all, that was where he hailed from. He saw firsthand what needed to be changed and what needed to be brought into the city. That’s not what happened.

President Obama lost a great opportunity to enact positive change. He did have some great achievements along the way. But also had some missteps and missed opportunities to help the communities that campaigned for him and truly believed in his hope and change.

How Can We Win Against China?

How do we win against China?

I think our politicians have put us in a very difficult situation. We have outsourced a majority of our manufacturing to China. China has been guilty of stealing many of our intellectual properties over the last 30 years. They are the 2nd largest super-power in the world right now.

But I am not really concerned about China attacking us from the outside. They have been successful in doing it from the inside out. They are smart.

They have come into our country and bought our companies. They are sending their students into our colleges by the thousands. And they’ve come in and bought our people in academia. Gaining access to very sensitive places in America. For example, there are 3 million acres in TX that are owned by the Chinese.

Why are we not concerned about another country buying our land? Why have we allowed our politicians to place us in this position? We must control our own destiny and manufacturing. Especially when it comes to our medications. Why are we not producing those in the US?

How do we control this? We implement tariffs. We bring the manufacturing home.

The COVID-19 Pandemic

This is a very sensitive subject to talk about for the entire nation.

I looked at the entire world in my research. What countries fared the best and which fared the worst during the pandemic?

Wear your mask. Wash your hands. Stay home – Stay alive. There was so much division in our country over masks.

I personally found it difficult to wear a mask. I had a constant sore throat and felt ill when wearing one. The only time I wore a mask was flying and in the airports. I am lucky enough to live in Florida where we had that freedom. As a result, our economy and people flourished.

I’ve seen people who were vaxxed, double vaxxed, etc. still get COVID. They say the symptoms were worse, but I didn’t see facts to back that up.

Pfizer released a vaccine in one year but they aren’t able to release the information or results of the studies from the vaccine. They said it will take 50-75 years to have that data. We’ll all likely have passed before the results from those studies are in. So why take the vaccine?

In my research, the continent of Africa did the BEST during COVID. 3rd world countries. How is that possible?

Biden and the Afghanistan Withdrawal

The Afghanistan Withdrawal was a very challenging situation for us.

We had been in Afghanistan for 20 years and spent several TRILLION dollars of taxpayer money there. We’ve had injuries and deaths. 2,500 people died there and countless others were injured.

We lost our money. We lost our equipment. 80 billion dollars worth. We have nothing to show for the time we spent there. The Taliban took back over immediately. They will not be the most well-equipped terrorist cell in the world…and using our own weapons and machinery against us.

We have to stop trying to change the culture of other countries. We can’t turn them into democracies when it’s just not feasible.

What was the thought process and ultimately… who approved this decision?

I often wondered if he ever slept?

I believe that a lot of people didn’t like him. It’s evident that the country was divided by Trump. But he accomplished a lot during his time in office as the leader of the free world.

I think history will be good to him – long term. Not right now. Right now, people are still so polarized by President Trump. But when history looks back on his Presidency, I believe that the good will shine brightly.

The Crisis at the Border

What are we going to do about the Southern border?

Well, how can we take cues from the leader of the free world about what to do when it comes to the border and security of our nation when he refuses to visit the very border he keeps open to any and everyone who wants to cross it.

Something is going on, and there is no transparency when it comes to the border. The agents are overrun and outnumbered. They can’t keep up with the number of people coming into this country every day.

What do we do to protect the people who live on the border?

Who is ensuring their safety when immigrants are trespassing onto their property as they cross into this country. They are arming themselves in their own homes because no one is listening to their pleas for help.

Why Families Are Fleeing Democratic States

There are several reasons that families are fleeing Democratic states across the nation.

Rules and regulations. Quality of life, especially post-COVID. Getting back to normal once the mask mandates were lifted. Housing costs. Cost of living in general.

Everything that has come from the federal government over the last two years has been fear-based, and the American people are ready to move on.

COVID isn’t going anywhere. The vaccines are available and many have chosen to vaccinate themselves. Some have not. That is a very personal choice. But we’re ready to get back to being Americans.

What can we do to ensure a feeling of safety and security and freedom back to the American people across the country, not just in Red states?
